About

Peter Wallis the principal surveyor became involved with the marine repair industry in London when he left school. During his working life he has seen the change from centuries old construction materials to modern fibre reinforced plastic composite structures. He is equally comfortable with traditional or modern vessels, recent commissions range from a 108 ft. timber ketch built in 1896 to a composite multihull still in build.

He has owned various different types of craft ranging from small motor vessels to his present Cheoy Lee classic yawl, which he has sailed between the UK and the Mediterranean for more than thirty years.

Peter has been involved with operating and repairing yachts and small craft for more than forty years. He has been in practice as a surveyor for fifteen years and has considerable experience with multihulls. He is an Accredited Member of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association (AMYDSA) and a Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (MIIMS).
